Maureen Umbe

Since year 2009 Maureen Umbe has been responsible for Hope for Tomorrow’s school kids, students, and mothers support programs in Mombasa. Maureen is a social worker and her husband is a pastor in Jesus Celebration Centre in Mombasa. Maureen likes her job in the middle of everyday life in the slum area. She says: “I like to serve people.” Maureen arranges regular meetings for mothers and youth supported by the organization, she also visits their homes. “We are committed as a family to pray for the work of Hope for Tomorrow” says Maureen, and reminds that prayer is a crucial part of the work Hope for Tomorrow does for helping people.
