Norah Obongo

In 2003 while Norah Obongo was serving the Lord during the annual Word Explosion Conference at Jesus Celebration Center, God made her path to cross with that of Hope for Tomorrow group that had travelled to attend the conference. Norah was then working at a hotel and helped the group to get accommodation there and has since assisted with the travel and accommodation arrangements for Hope for Tomorrow in Kenya

When Hope for Tomorrow’s coordinator Mikko Välimaa was returning from Kenya to Finland in 2006, Norah was asked to assist with the coordination of the activities in Kenya. She started working as the Hope for Tomorrow coordinator in Kenya in 2007.

Her work involves maintaining the cooperation with the projects in Mombasa and Kamaguta as well as the administration of any other funded activities in Kenya in these two places as well as in Kisumu. She is stationed in Nairobi and travels to visit the projects and to meet with the sponsored students and families in the field.
