Youth concert in Jämsä! (the flyer is in Finnish)
Hope for Tomorrow is holding a youth concert in Jämsä's Hiidenkirnu on Friday the 11th of November, 2005 for the AIDS-work benefit. The concert with Cata Mansikka-aho and MC Aidii begins at 21pm and has a voluntary entrance fee. Click here to see the flyer: Youth concert in Jämsä

School Campaign starting soon!
Hope for Tomorrow will do a school campaign called "Arkielämää Mombasan Slummissa" (which is translated Everyday Life in a Mombasan Slum) from October 19 - November 24, 2005. It will be held in seven localities: Orivesi, Hämeenlinna, Riihimäki, Jämsä, Vilppula, Mänttä ja Tampere. A 15-minute long film has been made for the school visits. It tells about a two-year old boy and his mother, and their everyday life in the slum. Norah O'bongo, a Kenyan teacher and HfT's field coordinator Mikko Välimaa will both be coming from Kenya for the school visits. The campaign has also been supported by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Glory Backman taking the Good News to Mombasa
Hope for Tomorrow has been in collaboration with Finnish Global Power Evangelism (website: Global Power Evangelism) to arrange evangelist Glory Backman meetings to Mombasa. According to the plans Glory will be in Mombasa March 10-13 (Thursday-Sunday). The services are arranged with the local churches. Please pray for all the arrangements, for the safety, and that favor and blessing will be upon them!

After a long wait we have received news from Kenya that Mikko's volunteer workers visa has been approved and is waiting to be paid for. We will need a trustworthy group of sponsors to pray and sponsor Mikko when he works in Kenya.

Catherine returning?
Catherine Obwogo was in Finland for the second time this past summer. Now we pray whether she will return during the coming winter and spring, while her volunteer work permit is still valid in Finland. Catherine went back to Mombasa to attend to her duties as School of Ministry Assistant Dean.

Mikko back in Finland
HfT International Coordinator Mikko Välimaa returned from Mombasa to rest and wait for processing of his volunteer work permit in Kenya. We pray that God's will will be done in his plans for the future.
