Plan of Action: Term 2006
- 2007
WORK IN KENYA
1. Cooperation between
Hope for Tomorrow and Camp David will continue
to be developed
during the year.
2. Support Application
The
Finnish Foreign Ministry will be sent a development
cooperation support
application
in May 2006. A total of 110500 euros for 2007-2009
will be
requested
for the Camp David Centre workshops: social and
occupational
rehabilitation
for Chaani slum residents, and Camp David's civic
organization
training.
We're hoping that the application is approved
so work could begin
January
2007.
3. As a new area of development
that began in Spring 2005, cooperation will be
developed
to support a rural area in Muranga, focusing on
poor families,
especially
helping single parents and/or orphans.
4. We will rent housing
for the field coordinator and volunteers to use.
5. The field coordinator
will receive a salary beginning from January 1,
2007. The salary
would be based on Kenya's salaries and living
standards.
6. We will coordinate a
Hope for Tomorrow event in Kenya during the year.
DOMESTIC WORK
1. Hope for Tomorrow's
communications in Finland will be increased.
2. Various Hope for Tomorrow
events will be conducted throughout Finland
during
the year.
3. Cooperation with similar
organizations will be increased.
